The BRK Hardwire Interconnected Ionization Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm detects two life-threatening hazards in 1 simple unit. This alarm uses visual and audible warnings when triggered and can easily be silenced during false alarms by pushing the test/silence button. A 9-Volt battery backup provides reliable operation, even in power outages, and the unit chirps when the battery is running low on power.
